FWIW, front plate is a gray area but I've been running without for 11 years and through several stops never had an issue.
The one time I parked on the street in Denver - and well out of downtown - I was ticketed for no front plate.
On a handful of occasions after, when forced to park on street, I put it in on the dash and didn't have an issue again. Others have reported problems with this downtown. They're real pricks about it.
I found out the hard way you also cannot display a for sale sign if parked on the street in Denver. I was driving a company vehicle and working at the time, parked at a meter for 2 hours and got nailed for it. Ignorance of the law is no excuse, but that was total BS.

I got hit for no front plate and parking on a permit only street. Truck was on and 4 of us were unloading bags of mulch. Hazards on and all.....I fear Denver parking enforcement.

After working all weekend, I'm pseudo caught up on work now. At least until Tuesday when I leave town again...
This whole not being able to sleep sucks. Couldn't sleep yesterday when I transitioned, can't sleep at all today. At least I get to go home in the morning.
