And for the record, I got to use the full CNC last week. That thing is ridiculous. The machine is a little old, but its about the size of my living room (20ft wide by 15ft deep by 12ft tall)

So what you are saying is that it is capable of machining a complete harem of anatomically accurate love dolls during one session?

Yea, I've read that BR shooters really weigh everything. I may try it eventually to see if it really affects accuracy, but I have a feeling, I'm still too much of a newb to long range shooting that it won't help me for at least a few years.

Wait, does the concentricity of the bullet change too?!

I got into this pretty heavily since we got back from Jolly Ole. I'm shooting in the Bushnell Brawl in a couple weeks, and during my training, I found out that I was missing targets at distances I should hit. There were a couple bench rest guys at the range and we figured out my ammo was not right.

its fun to have a 8000 lb bench gun next to me shooting off-hand kneeling at the same target... He was hitting it though!
Just doing what I can to stay on this side of the dirt.

Unfortunately, no. It is only capable of machining up to a (roughly) 36" part.

Then again, I guess if you wanted anatomically accurate midget love dolls, then yes.

WTF is an 8000lb bench gun and where do I get one?!

And yes, I'm sure I'll find out soon enough how picky/tricky reloading long distance ammo can be. I might load up my first few ladder loads this week to prep for a delivery...
