    I like stretching the distance on pistols. Hitting C-zone steel at 100M+ isn't that big a feat. It's a fun way to see where your capabilities really fall off under ideal circumstances.

    For most training I use IPSC/IDPA target zones or B8 repair centers. The timer and the scoring rings don't lie. You want to be faster, beat the timer. You want to be more accurate, beat the score. The trick is being able to balance the two when you need to.

    If you don't mind the drive maybe you can make it to the range with Dan512 and I sometime. We usually close out the day doing a walk back on steel.
