That sucks Ridge, hope the car didn't shift/twist!

I had a fender bender in a parking lot once in my old Ford Escort. I was driving down a parking lot (lights were out and it was around 11pm) and some guy backed up FAST then slammed on his brakes in enough time to barely tap me. There was no visible damage, so we both shrugged it off and went our separate ways. When I got home, told my dad about it and he looked in the engine bay, found these little plastic clips all along the bumper to a cross brace were broken. Cost us about $20 to replace them and that was that.

I've got a dinged up 1:9 twist barrel on my M&P15 if ya wanna trade, and by dinged up I mean slightly cut into from when I dremeled off the old railed front gas block

I want to upgrade my barrel to a 1:7 or 1:8, the 1:9 just barely stabilizes the 55grs, but I remember shooting 40gr "varmint" targeted bullets and man oh man, even at 200 yards, one ragged hole.

I got into a golf ball shooting match with my boss today. The 1/8 twist 16" .223 can really get after it when it needs to. Golf balls. 200yards.
Just doing what I can to stay on this side of the dirt.

Yeah, me too. I'm concerned that the shop will even take it. They had trouble with keeping the bumper aligned with the fender after I got it back, and refused to admit it was their fault since I didn't get it back in to them before I scratched the paint, so they said they weren't responsible any more...

1:9 works well with 55gr. the best so far is 1:12 and 1:14. But that limits you to the lighter varmint bullets.

That would be pretty sweet! What bullets/load were you using?

NICE! We're you waiting for them to land or just shooting them right off the Tee's at the driving range?

I like the flexibility of the 1:7. I don't ever plan on going lighter than 55gr, but having the option of going heavier is something I like.

Then utilize the low end of powder weight, especially with the groups you have now. I dropped down to 22.5 gr for my 55gr jsp, tightened up almost twice as much than using 23.5. One day they should all be on one target!

Excited to go explore a nearby reloading store tomorrow. Supposedly, they reload your brass while you wait and also sell their powders/primers and have quite a bit in stock.

I've spent the past hour or so compiling a huge list of powders that I can use for my calibers. Wanting to consolidate my pistol powders to use one for all, so I have a pretty big list of those. Same goes for 223/308, but thats not as big as the pistol.

Ideally, I'd like to buy 8lbs of a powder for rifle and for pistol and have that for a while. Would love to get 1lb of IMR 4064 for rifle, found a place online with 8lbs in stock at a good price, but I don't want to lock myself into it. Meh, may just take a chance if the local shop doesn't have anything to my liking.
