Geez! Sorry to hear that. Pertussis is no joke glad it wasn't that. My oldest had a really bad back to back croup/stridor incident. Both times ambulanced to st Joes for observation. My ex works at a children's hospital, everyone is saying this is a really bad year. My oldest has strep and is on 2nd round of antibiotics and an inhaler now. I've been constantly cleaning all surfaces and washing my hands. Luckily the twins didn't catch it. Hope y'all feel well soon!

Too many antibiotics and the body / immune system builds up resistance to them. not to mention so does the bug you're trying to eliminate.

Unless you keep the kids out of school 2-3 more weeks it will be a viscous circle .

I did call Duluth trading to get info on returning my pants for a replacement. Tree climbing beat the crap out of them. Thinking about getting some arborwear pants this time....although I like the lifetime guarantee from Duluth. But its like $70 a pop now......don't get me started on RDS. I think buy once cry once, and go with the aimpoint pro. Anyone seen them for sale locally?

I was thinking of waiting for the strikefire or sparc duex. Parallax free....I want the 2 MOA though. If the new strikefire is 2moa, FTW.

That being said, you probably don't want a 7.5 inch barrel with a suppressor. Most suppressor manufacturers won't warranty their product if you put it on a barrel shorter than 11" or something along those lines because a lot of ammo is still burning powder 8" down the barrel and it could damage or prematurely wear the suppressor.

I can understand that. Shoots fine with a comp though......methinks.

Also, if you get a "pistol" length upper and you don't have a stamp, then you just can't put a real buttstock on it. ...And like anything else, there are ways around it. Check out the NFA section of the forum to make your wildest dreams come true!

He has an appointment with ENT specialist. Really bad stridor/croup cough in back to back weeks is odd. But I agree immunity does build up. He seems fine so far (and has gone to school).
