Some folks believe the electrical current create a magnetic field, which supposedly throws the body's natural harmonics off. Causing not only an imbalance, but a weakening of one's immune system.
Interesting. I've been using electric blankets all my life. . As far as the doctor goes, the hives are getting worse and I still don't know exactly what's causing them. Since I have sweet socialized healthcare and I can visit a doctor for free (if I can even get an appointment today) i may as well try to get in.

Now it's caught up to you. I really like eb's. About 5 years ago stopped using one. Less head & body aches that use to come on mid - late afternoon.

They are like cell phones. While most discredit the negative side, there is some potential for health issues. You're an adult, you decide.
Remember people laughed when studies about allergies to carpets and mold came out.

I have a healthy level of skepticism about electromagnetic effects on the body, but I don't deny that the effects are real. I think as time goes on, we (humanity) are going to realize that a lot of things we have been doing for a long time have really messed us up.

I have a bunch of these: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/939...n-hollow-point and they shoot really well, but Midway keeps jacking up the price. I got them on sale a few months back for $53 per 500 with free shipping.
