    The cop was very polite, professional, and must have already been in the area. We went from driving along to accident to cop getting report to back on the road in under 25 minutes.
    Just doing what I can to stay on this side of the dirt.

    Glad to hear you are okay Belly. I'm curious how you came to know his speed when he hit you though. Let me know if you have any questions about the claims process. Also, who is his insurance company?

    Speed limit was 65. I was braking hard. His headlights didnt dip at all, so no braking, hence my guesstimate of speed.

    State Farm is his insurance company.

    claim set up. USAA will be contacting the other insurance company for the money portion. I won't have to worry about that. I haven't gotten repairs or an estimate done. All of the places USAA has listed as 'preferred' vendors are of teh same company: Caliber Collision. I've never heard of them, but they aren't getting great google reviews. I'm worried about the repairs.
