Whew! I moved 4 tons of rock this morning from my driveway to the backyard with a wheelbarrow. My arms and back are already feeling it.

"I am a conservative. Quite possibly I am on the losing side; often I think so. Yet, out of a curious perversity I had rather lose with Socrates, let us say, than win with Lenin."

That is a butt load of rock to have moved, HB. It makes me tired just thinking about it.
Gonna take a beginner archery class at Barr Lake today, might be interesting. I'll let ya know how it went.

Damn...I haven't spent enough time with my crossbow yet, but I think I be interested in getting a quality bow down the road a bit. Had a good time, shot about 70 bolts...most at 10 yards, the rest at 25.
Barr Lake is doing a lot of stuff that you can attend for free or nominal fee aside from park entry fee...took a canoeing lesson there last summer or the year before. Found out today, and got contact info for our ranger...she said they're looking for folks to come in and get free firewood. They have a *massive" pile of wood/railroad ties/slash free for the taking...just load it up.
Bring your chainsaw and a couple of strong backs.
ETA...they'll wave the park entry fee if you're there to take firewood.
