OBC, are you a mechanic? I need to have some work done on my Amigo soon, and was going to contact Zetnik, but you are likely closer. I'd like to try and do the repair myself with someone who knows what they are doing. If I get desperate I can take it somewhere and pay with my credit card though.

10 to 15 K is kind of a standard for break in period. It's not a good idea to use any engine oil additives during that time btw.

Fuel and oil additives are not a bad idea, Brutal. Fuel quality doesn't exist, and there are some products that improve both of those. And there's some crap out there too.
