hahahaha Yep! I was planning on buying 3'x8' ones, so that's where the 72 came from. Nice catch. Math is hard. :-P

I've been slaving away in the basement trying to rearrange things to make more storage room. By dumping some crappy large diy stands I had several pairs of speakers on, consolidating my gear racks, etc. I should have room in a few different locations for two 50 gallon water barrels, 7 more 84x36x24 and 4 more 84x36x18 rivetlock racks with 4-5 or more shelves each. I'm trying to get a hold of a guy that sells used racking to save some bucks instead of building shit from wood. Still kicking myself for not stockpiling more when I could have gotten my hands on more free when our business sold in 2003.

I was misinformed about PD and Fire at the tournament today, it was different divisions of the hospital. It was fun anyways, we lost our game by a few runs despite two comeback attempts. Finished up our game right before the downpour and lightning strikes.

Brutal, I've not been storing food and water as I should be, you're doing good to be getting all over that now. I should start getting with the program on that front.

Did the NeonDash 5k tonight. Higher percentage of runners/walkers than the Color Run we did earlier this year. Plus, at least this time we got some paint/color thrown on us. At the Color Run, it looked like we put on the shirts and then went home.

Want to do the pumpkin one later this year, and sad I missed the zombie one OBC was talking about. Completely forgot about it.

    I've only scratched the surface.

The big surprise was when I put together a worksheet to track preps as I do for all my "stuff" and calculated the per-calorie cost of MRE vs freeze dried bag-o-meal. I bought some of those $30 10 pack of Mountain House and they are TWICE the cost per calories as MRE's I get pretty cheap!

I'll be paying particular attention to the per-calorie costs when shopping for this stuff from now on. I needed to ramp it up, but the storage space presented a problem.

The impetus, among other reasons, was that we found out a few weeks back my son's live-in girlfriend is preggers and we'll soon be Grandparents. Assuming I'll now potentially have 6 mouths to feed (her 2 yo from another f_ckstick) instead of 2 or 3 if SHTF, I gotta get after it. We are sorely under-prepared.

Brutal, you're Tops for thinking of your whole fam, and getting prepared. I might hit you up for some low down on your program, if you're cool with dat.
