I've spent the last few hours chasing my tail trying to get a software update for an IBM program I use for work installed.
FUCK JAVA AND THE HORSE IT RODE IN ON.
FOUR different browsers, nine different java versions, and different issues EVRY GD STEP OF THE WAY and I finally got the damn thing to take.
P.S. DO NOT install Java 64 bit. DO NOT run a 64-bit browser.
