    little if any. My issue with thread on cans, is they're thread on. Being impatient can cause issues down the road. While all AR, as example are 1/2 x 28 not all suppressors threaded the same spec are the same cut / fit to your rifle. Some fit snug, require care installing, others are a looser fit. There are discussions about it on line.

    Precision rifle, sure thread on can.

    Running a can on multiple platforms - QD mount.

    I'm also using brake/FH combos on some to reduce erosion of the baffles and then still have the brake/FH on if I'm not running them with the can.

    I changed one pinned FH over to a combo because it rang (tuning fork) so badly.

    A lot more rifles come with 1/2 x 28 threading than an AAC adapter. And threading doesn't cost an additional $100+ per gun.

    Will you still get baffle erosion problems with a 16"+ barrel?

    Unlikely, but I'm only running the brake combos on the 18" .308, the 14.5, and 11.5.
