I can't tell you how frustrating it is being new at your job and doing everything wrong. There isn't great training and I feel like I'm only going to learn by screwing stuff up. Very frustrated right now.

    For your enjoyment.

Also, perhaps the Badge knows something about this, but people have been having trouble getting 3D EagleViews in the Colorado Springs area for months now. Apparently this is due to ISIS and restrictions on what kind of data can be had from satellites. Just what I heard.

Sorry, I don't know what 3D EagleView is... Google search shows something about mapping golf courses? Is that right?

Maps roof dimensions, including the slopes, so you don't have to manually measure everything. Like this:

Looks nifty. Probably uses SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) or something similar.

Either way, from their own brochure, they don't use satellites, they use aerial platforms (planes)

As far as Colorado Springs goes... there are 4 Air Force bases and 1 giant Army base in town. It's a nearly perfect target for terrorists in that regard, but I'm not sure why roof estimator imagery would be restricted.

Well, if you think about it, the general public places insurance adjusters just under terrorists, so it makes sense.

Meh, I think insurance adjusters are at least a few steps above the ambulance-chasers (accident attorneys) and professional liars (politicians).

Ever think you are doing it right. Everyone else was taught wrong.
