    Kids are pain in the butt, grandkids are cool. I think it is situational though.

    I just got a bison roast in the slow cooker. Seasoned and seared in a hot pan, then into the cooker on the onions carrots and potatoes. Chicken broth into the sear pan to soak up the flavor then on top the roast. Already smelling good!
