Good o'l steel cases... they're safe with many firearms.. just can't mix and match between brass through the day... you'll almost guaranteed to get a fail to eject... I wouldn't know with an AK though... all I shoot through that is steel

I start back to work in my field almost 9 months of an extended hiatus today, haven't checked the forum all day and we have an exploded thread over Xbox and old people. What the hell did I miss?

We all know steel ammo shoots filthy... the chamber gets hella dirty shooting steel cases, and when you start loading brass cased rounds the brass expands a lot more and gets stuck in the chamber...

So i'm expecting an answer on this in the morning... But are you saying that shooting steel-cased only (not mixed with brass) through an AR would not cause any extra wear and tear?it's time to get some beauty sleep...
