    Kazoo!

    In a pressure cooker (mine only goes to 10 lbs).
    1 1/2 cup of water, add preferred seasoning (from the hip) and bring to a boil.
    Add one cup of white rice.
    *Bring to pressure and cook for 8 minutes.
    When timer is done, remove from heat and release pressure.

    *I waited to start the timer until I bought it to pressure, which was only a minute or two, and a lot of the rice was burnt to the bottom of the pot. It think you should start the timer as soon as you close the lid.

    Anyway, try this out for long rice. We've cooked about 15lbs of a 20lb bag of white rice this way and it is great. Next up is learning how to use the pressure cooker to cook dry beans.

    Interesting. I went from using measuring equipment to Point Seasoning.
