Hey hoes. My '99 Cavalier with a manual transmission calls for Synchromesh tranny fluid to be used. Advanced Auto Parts didn't have that specifically, but plenty of alternatives. They had Dexron and Dexron substitutes, but I'm pretty sure Synchromesh pre-dates Dexron. What says the group?
Oh yeah, I broke a $10 coolant hose so now need to flush the coolant system, and broke a stud off the starter and had to go buy a reman unit to replace the original. Those two minor issues have more than doubled the cost of this adventure.
