Thanks. I'm going to try this for Christmas dinner.

No problem. No knead dough tends to come out tasting a bit like sour dough. If you decide this is something you want to do more often, read this awesome article all about the science behind no knead dough and you'll feel like you know a lot more about what you're doing. Good luck!

Irving, that bread sounds great. We use an older bread machine that we got cheap from craigslist, but it usually works really well and it's nice because you can generally hit "start " and then walk away

Okay, even I get sick of posting pictures of bread, BUT, this bread rose the highest yet, AND it looks fantastic and I can't wait to try it!

    Looks good Irving.

We try not to buy bread from store and bake our own. Even the frozen bake at home is better than the stuff in the bread aisle.

It is. I'm eating it now and it is great. When I was making a lot less money, I became a pretty big fan of going to Safeway and buying a cheap can of soup and a $.50 cent roll of jalapeno cheese bread to dip into the soup as a cheap meal. Now I can make the bread for like $.20 cents a loaf.

I found one! Picked this 2 gallon can up at Ace today. It's made in the USA, labeled for Kerosene, and has a 'drip free' spout also.
