1 job asked me to take a piss test. Sure when my dick can hold a pencil. How many horrendous alcoholics get hired because they are not testing for alcohol?

I miss the days of actually talking to the owner or mgr where there's a job opening, being able to sell yourself and starting the next morning. None of this 2nd - 3rd set of finalist for working a parts counter, turning wrenches, or sales.

A person knows the first week if they and the job & vice versa are a good fit. Now a dayz a person gets hired, it takes 3x as long to terminate them as it did to get go through the hiring process.

**Perhaps the nicest thing about my new job, is Mondays. Mondays are no longer Mondays to me. Everyday is about the same, and for the most part work doesn't build up over the weekend. I'll call people on Monday and they'll say, "Well, it's Monday" and it takes me a second to remember what the heck they are even talking about. On the other hand, Friday's aren't quite as special any more, but let's be realistic, Fridays are great no matter what.
