    .................Fake White Castles...............

    They turned out just right this time. The step I missed was to add just a touch of water to the onion bed.

    oiled nonstick skillet
    two chopped onions
    1/2 pound of 1 oz patties (85%-15%) with 5 holes poked through
    hillshire farm slider buns

    add onions to skillet over medium low heat.
    lay patties out evenly over onions.
    add water to onions so they are just covered in liquid, about 2/3 cup
    open bun and place bottom bun upside down over patties, then top bun on top.
    scoot them close together to trap steam.
    cook about 6 minutes or until meat is done.
    add cheese, then pickle.
    mustard on bottom bun optional, and recommended!
