Irving, lots of folks like to zero at 50yds, because while shooting 55gr projectiles from a 14.5" barrel, you'll also be almost perfectly zero'd at 200yds.
If you only have a 25yd range, then may God have mercy on your soul.
Seriously though, I always start at 25 just to get on paper. I've had factory sights be WAY off when sighting in and I've wasted a bunch of ammo by starting at 50 or 100.
