    I dont know if I ever WANT to go back-its rapidly changing for the worse,almost a mini White Plains....

    Boooooooo! "The Plaza" and Fids was the place to be when I was a youngster. But the malls just started creeping in nearby when I was at Oneonta.

    I remember either "The Wall" or "Rocky Horror Picture Show" every Saturday night at midnight. Was so cool back then.

    Yup spent many a night down there.Fids is still there,has to be -the DA hangs out there
    And the movie theatre is long gone,I think it was a cheesy gift shop when I left.
    My friends father ran the projector back then and we would get in for free

    Man, the movie theater is gone? Game over. Fids used to be a good old Irish pub. No longer eh? Too bad. Had many a "half and half" there growing up.

    Nah Fids is still there and Irish as ever!!Erin goes braless!!

    The theater went bust early or mid 90's.The Bum Steer up by Danbury blew up 2000 or so and the owners son died or something.Briarpatch closed mid 90's.The place that was by lLake Carmel is still open but changed there name and still is Irish

    Yea A LOT has changed over the years.

    Is Smalley's still there? That was THE place to go when we were under-age. They had a rather loose carding policy.

    It was just 2 stumbles and a fall from my house!!
    They had sooo many raids in that place its amazing it's still open!!
