It might as well be concrete but any manual labor worker with his or her salt knows concrete takes over 30 years to fully cure and reach maximum hardness..... Hence my reasoning behind older homes. Newer homes are nice but not able to withstand the beating you can give to older homes.
Things certainly aren't built like they used to be.. And that applies to all sorts of things: buildings, cars, appliances, electronics, etc.

I agree completely hence why I jumped on you about it lol. Old school craftsmanship blows the competition away any day but everybody wants maximum profit and minimum overhead so goes that craftsmanship.

Damn you ya bass-tard! You didn't give me a chance to shake your hand before you left.

You'd be proud of me too. In addition to my usual IT job, a week ago yesterday I got OC (Operations Controller...satellite operator) certified. Never hurts to become more valuable on a contract.

Sorry T, things happened pretty fast on the way out. I actually just met someone else out here who knows you... He just left your unit for here.

Don't worry, you haven't seen the last of me!

Sorry being hung over is for amateurs & kids. Best way to get back on your feet, Watermelon. Provides solids to your stomach and rehydrates. Now get back on your cotton pony, cowgirl

It's just too bad those awesome contractors of yesteryear could be bothered to build anything square.

You're going too far by assuming I can build anything square. I do get a kick it out of walls that stay straight all the way out to the corners though.
