    Well, since you asked, I'm pretty beat up from that tire swing. Bruises and abrasions all over the place. Did you know that 3/4" butterfly drill bits don't like steel belted radials? At one point, I took a piece of steel belt to the eye and about f'ing blinded myself. I don't know how I blinked in time, but I have matching "pokes" in my upper and lower eyelids on my left eye. Between that and popping nails out of the concrete floor after pulling the carpet in my living room, I'm surprised I can still see at all. Not to mention that now I probably have mesothelioma.

    Here is what I came across when I decided to be a nice guy and check to make sure my neighbor's sump pump was working while it was pouring rain during his vacation. After dealing with my own sump pump issues, I looked over the fence and thought, "the adventure continues!"

    Both our pumps are outside. The backyard will flood and let water into the house without them. In all reality, he doesn't get water into the house on that side, so I could have done nothing, but I've seen enough water losses that I'll try to prevent that if at all possible.
