So after spending hours (in my head) thinking of ways to prevent my inevitable sweating through holsters and ruining my guns. And even after actually starting half cracked ideas (sewing Tyvex to the back of the holster), I believe I've finally arrived at a way to prevent the sweat through. I present to you my solution, and firmly establish my station as the next generation of RedGreen engineering status. Behold. (laying on the work bench is the template I cut out of a coffee can lid before I noticed the duct tape hanging on the wall)

If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Love me some Red Green and his nephew Harold and all the coots at Possum Lodge.

Why not use a piece of split sheepskin or felt?

Because if I can sweat through a 1/4" piece of leather, what is a piece of felt going to do?

Is that a round about way of saying that the EPA is like a "Upper Deck"?

make you feel better about yourself. The felt absorbs, leather gets funky.
