He did shoot his 10mm, while I shot a Glock 17 that was totally stock. My current shooting mentor was telling me that I would shoot better with a Glock and I should just switch, so I had a buddy bring me his Glock to try it out under pressure. I used the GoPro on every round but my best one of the night. [DOH]

I'm not going to jump into anything, and I wouldn't buy anything new either. Thinking I'll go smaller on carry gun, and larger on competition gun. If I pick up a Glock, I'll probably get the cheapest, used, G17 or G19 I can find. The other thing is that I'm really liking 9mm, but I don't know if I'd abandon .40 or not. One of my fastest rounds tonight was shot with my .40 compact. I just don't know what I'll do, but probably nothing until next year.

I don't have anything against Glock, but have always been one to deviate from the masses. I can't think of any other gun that compares in a striker fired right now.

What's wrong with your CZ 75 besides the surface rust? I'd love to get me am SP 01 in 9mm.

A little tougher getting holsters and the external safety could slow my down a bit. Neither of those things every used to be things I would have cared about in the past.

I haven't. I've shot so few guns it's pretty silly. I don't think I'd spend the money for an HK though.

I like my CZ and shoot it pretty well.

2 words SIG 320. IF i was to deviate from the many pistols we have now. The 320 would be in the collection real fast.

Next time in this area, road test my 1911 commander (Ruger). I'm not nor ever been a SA / single stack shooter. This commander has changed that outlook, external safety included. You saw what i did that 1st time out with it. That safety is just another muscle memory reflex. You practice with it, it becomes second nature.

Exactly what I was thinking. I really need to get one to add to the Sig stable.
