Well the guy I had go up there (recommended by an insurance buddy) couldn't find anything that would be causing it to go down the vent. If you'd like you're more than welcome to come give me a second opinion since you seem to like crawling on roofs. Everyone on the block had theirs done last year after golf ball hail, but mine didn't look too bad. This year however, I never saw any 'bad' hail but a few more folks joined the replacement club around.. and then I started noticing little spots and just thought it was coming from when I moved clothes from the washer.. I changed my mind after the last puddle.
Honestly I'd probably come to the same conclusion. If it's coming down the inside of the vent, that's better as far as the water not interacting with other materials (not soaking your insulation, or rotting your decking, etc), and also points toward bring blown in as well. I wouldn't mind taking a look, but I'm never down that way much anymore.
It definitely happens when it rains, and not when you shower or something?

Yeah when it rains, not just storms but rains. I'm hoping it's only come down the vent and not like run down the vent as it's outlet. It's not in a valley on the roof, just on a slope. If I knew more about what to look for I'd give you more info. The 'fan' of the vent it's attached to still works, as does the light adjacent to it. I went into the 'attic' but there is too much insulation for me to be able to see anything, or crawl to it for that matter.
Dead as fvck in here...wth.
