Yeah, some freeze dried stuff...great reviews on taste and 25 yr. storage life. Really starting to look at a lot of things closely and start making some decisions, and take some steps in that direction.

With out water you'll eventually fade away. I know that hulking Mr. Olympus physic of yours can go 2-3 weeks w/out. However once you get down to say 130-145 that lack of water / hydration will takes it's toll.
Give the LDS cannery 1 block west of chambers and 1 south of 35th a visit. WE utilize fair amount of the dehydrated food stuffs in our weekly menu.

I'm in a different boat. Have probably 30 lbs ( 3 brands) of different powder, 1K of .308 ready to load brass. All i need are bullets, lg rifle primers AND something to deliver them with. Holding out for a RPR, but who knows. There's some decent deals on a few For Sale gun forums.
That 03 30.06 is real tempting since i never owned one, just a $$$ over my budget
