Just me and Mrs bo. We do Christmas with minions in mid January. Tradition we started 7-8 yrs ago. Decided getting entire clan same place same time was more important than date it occurred.

I've been trying to get my family on board with this for years. A lot less stressful, and the added benefit of after-Christmas sales (in addition to all the pre-Christmas stuff).

I took that 5+ lb roast. let it dry age in the frige 2 days, before cooking yesterday. What a difference. You let the roast or meat of choice (NO OBC this is not about dating) sit uncovered 1-2-3 days in the frige. The spouse and friends over last night said it was one of if not the best one i've cooked.
