Outside the fucked up politics, insane gun laws, entitlements for ILLEGALS, high taxes, registeration of wood burning stoves. It's oddly enough an interesting place to Visit.

California is a great place. Too bad it's too damn full of liberal Californians.
    My Feedback
Credit TFOGGER : Liberals only want things to be "fair and just" if it benefits them.
Credit Zundfolge: The left only supports two "rights"; Buggery and Infanticide.
Credit roberth: List of things Government does best; 1. Steal your money 2. Steal your time 3. Waste the money they stole from you. 4. Waste your time making you ask permission for things you have a natural right to own. "Anyone that thinks the communists won't turn off your power for being on COAR15 is a fucking moron."

Hello everyone. Is there a way to put money in the stock market for my daughter and also have it be tax sheltered? Isn't that like a 503B for a college fund or something?

529 or ESA. I believe inside a 529, the earnings are tax free (like a roth IRA), but you are limited to $2000/yr of investment and you can only use it for education-related expenses. If you end up with extra money at the end, you pay hefty penalties to pull it out for non-education use.

Can you keep left over money in there and use it like a normal IRA after a certain age?
