CFLs are proven to save energy over incandescent bulbs. They just don't put out the light quality as LEDs.

Yeah, going to pick up 2 more LED light and call it good.
The LED shop lights are awesome. It's definitely a plus them firing right up in the cold. And no weird light patters like the fluorescents in the cold. And I also like the whiter light.

Have a few of the 48" led's in the shop. Ran one of these units in a hard to fit regular lights. Taken the left over and going to use in the shop. For the money including transformers worth it.

I need to make an appointment for Physical Therapy, but I keep forgetting too. Was told by the surgeon there's really nothing that can be done other than wait till I'm older for my muscles to weaken to equal the tendons strength. The Dr had tennis elbow too.

prolotherapy worked for a slap lesion i dealt with. Gave relief to a few other people we know that tried it vs surgery or cortisone injections. Some swear by it, others at it. YMMV

KS, that statement seems odd to me. PT will in essence strengthen the muscles and tendons. Why not try some strength training instead?

    Erni,
you can get LED retro fit kits for the flouescent fixtures cheaper that buying new LED fixtures. You'll have less waste than replacing.

They are basically the LED tubes, and all you do is gut the old fixture and rewire the end sockets to the incoming AC wires.
