I guess I should have done like almost everyone else and went out and got a jumbo loan/house I can't afford before the bubble bust.

Hate to say it. IF the total out going money is more individually, than a heloc monthly would be ..Why Not? We're so close to mortgage payoff, it's foolish (has that ever stopped anyone?) to take out any kind of loan, using the house as collateral

I said something to the director of research a few years back (when Obama was in ft fun) He inquired if i was going to attend the Obama 08 rally. Said i saw no reason to attend, I was not an Obama supporter, AND i felt ( referencing state employee handbook regs) Discussing ANY kind of politics in the workplace. Not only was against State Policy. BUT..................... made me feel uncomfortable. Knowing the head of the dept had a different political view, expressed to me i should attend the rally, etc.

IIRC not only did i receive a verbal apology, i also had HR ask me if i wanted to peruse it any further . Play the progressive cards, i'll call. dumb fukers.
Well if I were a crying sissy la la girl I would.. We have different views politically.. his aren't for any reason beyond he's a plaintiffs attorney and likes to sue large companies..

I always remind him that I got vetted for the dinner with Obama and he was told he could not attend..

Crotchety or not. I'm the one able to walk out side with one (of the many) SBR's with suppressor attached in plain sight. Not having to worry someone's going to dial 911.
