Smogging my burb was a joke. Since it is the auto awd, but only if you engage the button, they do not dyno it. Apparently they had one jump and did $5k worth of damage. So they obd scan test the gas cap and drive it out in less than 5 minutes. Wtf...

They do that with a lot of new cars. They didn't put my Caravan on the rollers at all, just scanned it. Not even awd.

My wife informed me too late to do a drive by test. I keep saying next year.

Aircare says cars newer than 12 get an obd2 scan and gas cap test only.

Here is an idea, how about doing these every 3-4 years?

Had I known I would not have changed the plugs and wires today before the test, and done something more productive. Could have waited until summer to change the plugs, the double iridum plugs looked servicable even after 95,000 miles.
But I got to say the truck feels much smoother at idle and accelerating now so I think the new plugs were worth it.

Not a good plan for a vehicle that you need to register.

The temp tags only last 90 days, so you'd have to run across one within that time, and enough time for it to come in the mail. I drive through those things all the time and have never received anything telling me that I've passed.
