Supposedly the Marriot in UT. When in fact we were on a dirt road in the middle of nowhere.

It is terrible to contemplate how few politicians are hanged. - The Cleveland Press, March 1, 1921, GK Chesterton
Also, since we're speaking about cars, I'm pretty sure I remember doing the price of ownership comparison on this forum and things have actually worked out even better than expected.
I projected my annual cost of ownership (gas, insurance, registration, depreciation, and maintenance/repairs) to be about $4600/yr for the next 5 years.
In the 11 months I've owned the car, I've spent $2913 (+/- $100) on those expenses, and about $300 of that was optional spending to replace floormats and headlight housings. Another $140 was spent on preventative maintenance that probably could have waited another 6-12 months. Sometime in the next 24 months, I'm expecting to spend about $1400 on suspension components, but that still leaves me well below budget. This is way cooler than being in debt.

Yeah, it turns out there are several different racing/driving clubs in the area, and one of them rents out the local airport once a month to do autocross and sanctioned racing on the runway. pretty cool. Lots of very proud Corvette owners in the area. Usually a Miata can beat them in autocross and it's hilarious.
