You know what? FUCK YOU micro USB. I use electronic devices every single day, all day long. I charge each device, then all day long. I'm in and out of the car and I bet that each device gets plugged in/out at least 50 times a day. I need a charge port that is more durable. It's too bad that everything has to be so small and delicate now. How is wireless charging coming? Don't even get me started on the fact that they STILL make USB ports that are under 3A each. Fucking ridiculous.
I took this photo because I thought it was funny. Then I decided to look it up, and I guess this is a normal practice for Masonic Lodges. I'll post the picture anyway.
I couldn't agree more. Micro USB is/was the worst fustercluck ever. We've lost a few devices to that frail trash. The simple fact that I have to look at the damn things to get them plugged in right without breaking something is infuriating. It's rare they have a tactile surface to tell which way is up, and there's no standard "up" on all the damn devices.Originally Posted by Irving

I'll have to look up USB-C, is that what the iPhones have? I've seen that and it seems smart. Hell, a simple barrel charger seems pretty durable and foolproof to me. The fact that the port is directional (both ends even!) is pretty stupid.
