    I went hog wild and bought a new Ubiquiti AP Pro, Motorola MB7420 (16x4), and a Ubiquiti USG firewall. I'm of the camp of preferring standalone devices and tend to lean to those that are more enterprise oriented. The Ubiquiti gear needs their controller software installed on a host to setup and configure, and that alone might turn most off.

    Most folks will be well served by either an all-in one cable modem/wifi router, or at most a cable modem and standalone wifi/router.

    I moved my LL off comcast to Ooma, and upgrade to 200Mbps (internet only) service for $79 for the first year.

    There was another thread here and several others posted some nice combo gear they were using.
