Back from a short lake vacation.
BLEW a tire on the big road. KABOOM tire while in the left lane doing 60-65 passing a slow moving semi at the bottom of Raton pass heading uphill. Took out a buncha sheet metal and stuff on the trailer, bent supports, etc. Not fun.
Four year old unused spare that made it maybe 250 miles down the road. Always kept covered and sprayed with UV protectant. Always kept properly inflated.
Fukn Chinese junk. My next rig, assuming 15" wheels, will be getting the new made in USA Goodyear Endurance N-speed rated trailer tire. perhaps if we end up in something with 16" I'll have other options. https://corporate.goodyear.com/en-US...iler_tire.html
