Our neighbors came over and were like, "We wish you put the floors in our house, we have big gaps everywhere in ours."
Thanks guys.

If you'd gone with a wild west theme, you could have turned the milk container into a spitoon.

Just tell your wife that the nicotine is meant as a deterrent for bugs since it's a key ingredient in some gardening supplies for that purpose.

Last night we were sitting in the dining room where the guitars and ukes hang on the wall. I took down the tenor ukulele and started strumming a G chord in a familiar pattern, though absentmindedly. 1 and 2 and 3, 4!, repeat. From the recesses of memory came The Ramones' "KKK Took My Baby Away". So I proceeded to play the song while the boys danced around to the sweet strains of dad doing his best to remember the rebellious stage of youth. Never in my wildest dreams or nightmares did I think that 17 years later I would be playing the same song, not as a 34 year old "punk", but as the antithesis of everything I once held dear. Heh.
Then again, I obliquely know the guitarist for the old NYC punk band Fun No Fun, and he too is quite different from when he recorded the song, T.R.O.U.B.L.E.:
