Ugh now you gone done it
The past month had been pretty rough for me with job issues, getting really sick and having multiple allergic and adverse reactions to medications I was put on. I just want to say thanks to everyone that contributes here, going through the new and old posts helped keep me distracted during a tough time.
Thumbs up

Folks, this was the real deal! Amazing place to stay! All amenities were included, no expense was spared. First I was transported in a private SUV to a prescreening lobby to make sure that I was eligible to stay. They even take your finger prints to verify your identity and not someone else trying to steal your reservation. I was placed in a private room where I had to wait to be transported to the main facility. My belongings were taken from me for safe keeping, how thoughtful. After about a two hour wait. I was transported again VIP to the main facility where upon arrival I was greeted by the concierge. He had me place my hands on the wall and then gave me a quick shiatsu massage to help me relax from the trip. I was was given an opportunity to make a phone call to let people how much fun I was having. I also visited a physician to make sure that I was healthy during my stay, very clever. As soon as I was checked in, I was given a very comfortable and extremely fashionable jumpsuit to wear as to not get my clothes dirty. I called it "Hamburglar chic". I was given fresh linens for my bed but I think they might of ran out of fabric softener because they were a bit on the rough side but it wasn't a big deal. I was given a VIP key card with my picture on it to gain access certain areas. I was asked for it everywhere that I went. How exclusive! I was taken to my section of the facility and boy was I flabbergasted! It was amazing! There were other guests there conversing and watching the enormous 24 inch screen TV. I believe some guests weren't having as great of a time as I was because they kept complaining to the staff that they wanted to leave. The staff however had them stay so that they would not miss out on any of the fun. I was given a gourmet meal consisting of two of the finest slices of bread. I think it was rye because it was hard like rye. A packet of aged grape preserves. A dollop of peanut butter made from the fanciest molding clay. Three, extra soft, vanilla and chocolate creme cookies. So posh! Lastly, a thimble of chilled apple cider. I ate like a plebian. After my hearty meal, I went to my suite to take a nap. I crept in quietly as to not disturb my bunkmate. He must of had a good meal to because he did not wake up the entire time I was there. I was also surprised with all of the features my suite had. A very stylish stainless steel toilet, a desk to write home letters to let your loved ones know of the phenomenal time you are having, my light switch to control the light and set the mood, and my favorite of all, my own water fountain with very little pressure as to not be wasteful. I had to put my mouth over the entire spigot to get a delicious heaping mouthful, yum. Amazing wake up service. I didn't even have to ask for it. I was very gingerly woken up from my slumber with a loudspeaker to let me know that my time was up. Bummer. It was time to let other guests enjoy the center. Overall I had a blast! Friendly staff, great food and most important of all, amazing location, in quaint Brighton, Colorado. Miles away from the fast and dangerous suburban life. Truly an experience.

I would suppose that if I were to try and speak for more folks than just myself...(not generally recommended)... I'd say Thank You, and take that as a compliment. There are a lot of great folks here, I know that, and it's part of why I want this community to be part of my life. My apologies for seemingly trying to bring it down from time to time....lol. I'm certainly glad to hear that our banter has been helpful.
I hope your employment situation improves, and your meds as well, Sir.

I had a bit of a hard time visiting the family and friends of a loved neighbor during a celebration of life this afternoon.
I know I've mentioned Jerry and Claire here before....but today I looked Jerry's son in the eye while I shook his hand and admitted that I failed and regret not having stayed in contact with Jerry after Claire passed and he had moved back into his home next door to my Ex. Both of them were great people, and they helped me learn and understand a lot of things about life, and they will live in my memories for the rest of my life.
Thank you, Jerry.
