    As for the leg brace thing, same deal with boots for diabetes. Mother-in-law got like a $900 boot that was painful and nearly too heavy to lift through insurance. For $60 she could get a comfortable shoe on her own.

    yes sir. I already did the measurement at the post op visit (wrote # brand , size etc down). Bought a sairmesh version insterad of neoprene braces for $42 on ebay new.
    The nurses told me if I buy one out of pocket, bring it on the next visit for hinge adjustmente.


    ETA: I will have everyone I meet near future from this specific forum to sign my braces.
