I smoked some salmon and trout for the first time the other day. It didn't turn out well enough to bring to a party or something, but it's good enough for me to eat.

That's cool, Irving. I'm gonna get a smoker some damn day and get to experiment with it like your are. I remember when you first posted up your barrel plans if that's the one you're still using.

That barrel stove was just a stove. I had a free electric smoker that sucked. I recently found a propane smoker at a garage sale for like $75. Much better.

Just might have stumbled onto a "barn find" '66 Chevelle in western PA. Don't know if it's 2 or 4 dr. yet, SS, Malibu, or what. Word is that it's clean, and with an extra engine...under 5K.

Phone call tomorrow and a request for some pics and see where it goes from there. If it's SS and aint rusted to shit, might be a great opportunity.

Nice!!! I'd love a good project car or truck but that's a few years out.

    Hey Mazin….

I'm gonna get started back up on my F 250 this weekend, I'm kinda stoked about getting moving on it again.

Maybe I can figure out this interwebz stuff and post a pic from my phone. It's a '79 and I put a 7.3 powerstroke in it. Turned out that motor was hurt and the project stalled.

I'm gonna take the cab off this Friday and put another 7.3 in it and modify some of the original mods we made to the chassis.

We swapped our propane for an electric this year. Liked the propane smoker but got tired of battling the wind and it was worn out. Liking the electric.
