Outside running this morning with power steering and vacuum now. I need to get the radiator in it so I can run it for more than 5 minutes. Nice aluminum O.E. style with dual electric fans and a temp switch that self regulates.

Being able to lift the body off seems like cheating.

    It ..IS...lol.

But in Fords infinite wisdom, the radiator support in the F series isn't removable like the E series is. If body and paint on the cab weren't complete, I would have just pulled the front clip....I didn't want to take a chance on chipping or scratching the finish on the fenders or the hood.

eta,,plus all the electronics are mounted on the inner fender panels and all that would have had be messed with as well. Lifting the whole thing was the way to go for sure.

It is difficult to believe how hard it is to find an old school winch bumper for a mid '70s Ford truck.

WTF happened to the aftermarket bumper world? None of it goes back that far, and most of it is gay as hell.

I mentioned you were looking for a mid 70s Ford bumper to a friend & he said he might have a Ramsey something or other & would get back to me. He also asked if you wanted a PTO, hydraulic or electric?
