Turbo is gonna be a little more than I expected....but it's gonna be a lot more zippier when it's done by the end of this week... which means I can get it runnin again on Friday.



Getting wheel and tire price quote by tomorrow probably. Gonna get the bench seat sent out this week for rebuild and recover. This truck might be fighting me a bit for now, but it's going to start coming together really good soon. I hope I'm done with the setbacks for the rest of this trip.

What kind of axles are under that thing if you're running 38's?

That's a lot of stress on some old (HD44/D60?) axles.

Battery battery battery.....
1. My mom's car needs a battery, so we decided to just do it at walmart instead of the dealership. I gotta meet her after my physical therapy near Stapleton walmart.

OEM AGM batteries are lasting us only 3 years average. Going to try the aftermarket H7.

2. I had limp mode on my car today and it was annoying the hell out of me. I did diagnose and it did not make any sense on code readers.

By looking at the car clock, it was 2 minutes behind, so I put the car on battery tender.
After doing that for 6 hours, limp mode is gone.

To be sure, I gotta see how it goes tomorrow and run diagn again.

My car has been flipping the temp control readout to C randomly every few days.

I was messing around in the fuse panel Saturday, but today I notice the parking lamps don't flash when locking/unlocking with the remote. Have to get the VAG plugged in and check the central locking control module coding. Something changed and it didn't reset to factory because my remote window up/down I enabled and the auto lock I disabled still works.

I just put a Costco Interstate battery in it 2 years ago so if it shits the bed I will not be a happy camper.

I thought I had an alignment issue.... Turn wheel right and it will hold a right turn. Turn wheel left, and it will hold a left turn. Sounds like an alignment issue.... $100 later and still doing it tire pressure is at 60psi, pump has full fluid.
