The 3rd Gen+ straight axle Dodge/Ram 2500/3500 only disconnect at the transfer case. EVERYTHING else from wheel to shaft spins all the time. They do make aftermarket PT hub kits, but the good ones are pricey.
2nd Gen had a center axle disconnect. Still no locking hubs.
Lots of people converted that CAD to a manual cable, which got you 2wd low if needed.
