In anticipation of today's colder weather, I put cayenne pepper in the coffee grounds. Great spicy finish.

Lived in Harvest Manor apartments early 70's across from Folsom Field.
If you weren't in your parking space two hours before the game, tough - they rented it out.
When Oklahoma played, they brought a cannon to fire after each touchdown. (The Sooners' Boomer)
One year, it sounded like a continuous battle, the cannon was fired so often.
Student tickets were great - Standing Room Only throughout the game and required cheers.
The spirit was unique.
I know that apartment very well. It is kinda difficult to conduct a party in that apartment. I didn't live there, but 2 of my friends did at a sperate occations. One unique about it is that most of 1st floor people use balcony door as a front door.
One lived fartest right (1st floor) from the photo, and other friend later years lived on 3rd or 4th from the right (also 1st floor).

College Foozball I can stand, professional not so much.
The new turbo did get rebuilt and was installed last week. Still had the oil leak but it was worse....found out the crankcase wasn't breathing like it's supposed to but is repaired now. The engine pressure was such that the turbo oiling system couldn't drain back into the block and rather discharged the oil into the down and up-pipes instead.
The shop that rebuilt the part used the van exhaust housing with the back pressure pedestal/valve delete, and went with the wicked wheel II. He said it's the best package upgrade you can do for a Garret 7.3 non roller bearing unit. I did get the cooling system installed minus the heater box aspect so I can run it for extended periods of time now and try to burn the last of the oil out of all the pipes for good. The heater is bypassed for now because I'll be putting in an upgraded heat/ A/C case with the evaporator and all that shit later. The kit is pretty nice, as they give you all the stuff to run factory style dash vents with the proper ducting and everything, with the option to delete the compressor and condenser as I already have van stuff I can use, and they modify your stock function control unit to activate the A/C when called for.
Got the electric fans all wired up nice and neat, but the system is only filled with water for now as I wanted to make sure there were no water/seal problems anywhere on the engine. Only found one block drain plug with a little moisture on it and I can seal that up before I go in with the coolant refill.

Sometimes, having fun is more important than trying to be super cool, or trying to look like the smartest person in the room.
Chances are, you are most likely neither.

Re: Gmail's forced update and the taking away of the "revert to classic look" option
I hate Devs. I hate the moronic executives who approve these changes. I hate cutesy UI's that completely jack up an otherwise working experience. I hate when something is fast and works and does all I want it to becomes a trudging along piece of junk.
If a fascist regime takes over in America, I hope they leave the gutter trash to act 2, and kill all "progressive" and "good idea!" devs in the opening salvos.
