Okay, so I've written over $600,000 in estimates since I've been down here. My lofty goal is to write 5 million before I go home, but I won't cry if I only get to 2 million. I started off pretty slow since this is my first hurricane, but I've kind of found my feet and hopefully a new batch will roll in and I'll be able to get through them quicker.

    Ha!

My other post wasn't some lame attempt at a brag by the way. I like to track my output and that was a figure that is never added up before. I think it's an interesting metric through which to view my productivity.

Customer Appreciation Day at a dealership we blow a lot of money at, well, we used to back when this happened.

Grills are going, tents set up everywhere for pushing product and "business continuity" and such.

A few of us at the time were walking around the set up, and this lady with a clipboard busts out with..."hey, are you registered?". Yeah, it was for some bullshit giveaway, but I said...

"as a Sex Offender?....yeah, the state made me do that a few years back".

The blank stare and look from her was priceless for a few seconds...and everyone within earshot was already laughing, and even she joined in the mirth of that. It was one of those times when all the folks were onboard for what had just happened and they were cool with it. I'll never forget it.
