Day 2 of continual rain, started @ midnight monday morn. Think it's not rained for maybe 15 min, since then. The San Francisco peaks , Granite Mtn and surrounding higher elevations are snow capped. Roads wet and still people have no clue how to drive !

Thank you SSB, it is very appealing & I've looked at the ad several times. Metal framed is my preference for the CZ but turns out a decock only setup is not what I want.

I'm going to revisit a gen5 34 & see how much different it is over my early gen3 17. I have opportunity to borrow a 34 for an afternoon, Yay!

What didn't you like about the polymer frame?
Why is the CZ polymer frame different than a Glock polymer frame?

The width difference is especially noticeable & does not fit my hands comfortably

Im indifferent to polymer frames, see the benefit & not, for them. On that particular CZ, I didn't like it. Not sure exactly but even the mag release seemed to be in a different location too... it was all just a little off for me.

& I wanted to like it... if that says something

I'm just curious. I've not handled polymer CZ pistols much. I'm surprised that it seems the dimensions are different. That is much more tangible than the material alone.

    Well I don't know, I didn't hold it. I mean I believe you, if that's what you're asking.

I read the specs, knew the variations prior & was still surprised @ how much difference there was/is in the grip & the weight of it once in my hands. Even more surprised I found one I definitively knew I didn't want to own, because up to now I've enjoyed each Ive handgun I've tried.

I suspect you'd notice too, whether you would care or not...I dunno.
