Three repeated notes on an existing problem that techs looked at with no resolve. You have a problem with getting shit fixed when it's first reported, and a team that seemingly doesn't give a shit about their job or the people that are counting on quality vehicles or equipment functioning properly.

I do not envy the situation that you are in, as the leader.

I have 2 new folks who are scared of their own shadows and afraid to break anything. I have another guy who exactly fits your description: he doesn't care. If I weren't shorthanded already, I'd be pushing to get him fired. 2 shifts that are too slammed to be dealing with low priority things that come in. Unfortunately, due to being shorthanded, I'm having to catch these things on other shifts that I'm filling in on.

Once we stabilize, I hope to get rid of the dead weight after we backfill him before he is let go. I'm all for the coast to retirement plan, but one at least needs to work if they're going to fill a spot.

And yes, computer stuff.
