Installing flooring in a rental house. Did you know that there are still people who just sit inside their homes and smoke all day long? I used to bring a cigar along and smoke it out the window on my hour+ drive home. However, cigars really stink up a vehicle for a few days (pipes can be better). Mostly, after being saturated with cigarette smoke all day long, I have zero desire to light up a cigar or pipe when I'm done. I feel gross. Also the dog and cat piss smell doesn't help either.

2 hr drive each way to get a 4" needle stuck in a 3" knee., The 62 deg day was an added bonus .

I forgot to mention the little dog that barks at me EVERY single time I come in the door. Even when I bend down and pet him and address him the first time, then go in and out 10 different times in a row carting in tools.

See this magnet I'm pointing to with this spring at the bottom of the photo? That magnet is only there to hold up that target, but it is accidentally, and perfectly placed to catch bottle caps when I, occasionally open beers. It's wonderful. Some fun trivia about that target. That is the target that caught the one time I had what I think was a double load of AA #5 in a .40 reload. Just to the right of the indicated magnet is a large hole marked #2 with a little mushroom cloud drawn just to the left. That's the hole left by the double charge. It was significantly larger than the other holes on the target. So large, that I could fit the fired case through the hole. The case was torn in half by the way.

A guy that I work with in Kansas City owns some rentals, and some of the stories he tells are absolutely disgusting. 500lb black lady that calls him and says "The shitter's broke..." He politely tells her that he's out of town and to please use the other bathroom until he can get it fixed. Comes back to find that she has continued to use the "broke" toilet to the tune of human excrement and TP piled higher than the toilet seat...

Funny story though, when he has to evict people he doesn't bother to get the cops involved once he's filed the paperwork, he just takes the front door off the hinges and says "gotta take this in for service". Apparently people don't like to stay in houses that don't have front doors...
