Mornin! Just got home from work and enjoying a little Makers Mark.

Funny...I went to the local liquor store a while back before work (maybe 8pm) and put a bottle or a 12 pack on the counter, I forget which. The cashier saw me in my suit (aka "costume") and said "Just get off work?"

I said, "Nah, just heading in."

She just said, "Ohhhh" and the look on her face was priceless, like was pounding booze before work. Of course it was for AFTER work, like right now.

In Vegas for step brothers wedding many years ago....my Dad and I in tuxes step into an elevator...doors close.

Some lady says, "Wow, look at you guys, you heading to an event?".

Without skipping a beat, Dad says "We're security for John Gotti, he's in town for a special event".

The look on the ladies face was priceless.

Speaking of liquor stores. They sell full strength beer and hard liquor & wine in AZ. Based on the number of vehicles outside the mom & pop ones in town. It hasn't hurt them, like it was said it will in CO.

Heck, they sell hard liquor and full strength beer at Circle Ks and 7-11s in AZ. And they have for ever. It keeps the drunks off the main roads and in their local neighborhoods. Liquor stores have better prices though.
The legal drinking age used to be 19 for anything until the feds got involved.
